Our successes are owed to the group of passionate, dedicated and resourceful individuals who support our cause, which includes board members, members, volunteers, and staff members.

The Nature Trust is governed by a board of directors and ex-officio, honorary Directors, and Trustee Emeritus.

Our Board of Directors is responsible for providing strategic leadership, which is required to establish and review the organization’s mission, vision, mandate and goals. The Trustees are collectively accountable to the Nature Trust’s members, community, funders and other stakeholders.

Annual General Meeting 2025

The Nature Trust’s 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the AYR Motor Centre in Woodstock, from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Join us to celebrate a banner year for land conservation in New Brunswick, which saw the addition of beautiful new preserves in Appalachian Hardwood Forest, along the Wolastoq river valley, and other key habitats, growing our network of protected lands to 14,100 acres. While all are welcome to attend the AGM, please note that to vote on business matters, you must have made a donation since last year’s AGM. To become a voting member, donate here.

Following the business portion of our Annual General Meeting (AGM), please join us for a special social gathering and guided hike from 3:15-4:45 pm to celebrate the grand opening and official name unveiling of our new nature preserve in Long Settlement, Carleton County.
