Our 2024-25 Gratitude Report is here:

A year of protecting the places we love

Our 2024–25 Gratitude Report is now available — and this year’s edition tells a story of what New Brunswickers can achieve together.

From the very first page, this year’s report is a celebration of care in action: a community rising to protect the places that shape our lives, our memories, and our future. Thanks to supporters, volunteers, partners, and conservation-minded landholders across the province, we added 22 new properties to our network this year — the most in our history.

These pages are filled with stories of people who stepped forward for nature:

  • Land donors who placed cherished forests, floodplains, and riverlands into permanent protection.

  • Community members and Indigenous partners working toward shared stewardship and reconciliation.

  • Volunteers and field teams restoring habitats, listening to birdsong through our Soundscape Project, and caring for preserves year-round.

You can explore the full report in two ways. Read it right here on the page through our interactive flipbook below. Or download a PDF copy to revisit anytime or share with others who love New Brunswick’s wild places. Nature Trust donors will receive a hard copy in the mail shortly (click here to donate and receive a hard copy of the report).

As we stand on the threshold of our 100th nature preserve, we’re reminded that every milestone has been powered by people who believe in protecting nature for the generations who follow. If the stories in this report inspire you, we invite you to help carry this momentum forward by supporting our Together for 100 campaign, our year-end fundraising drive to secure three new ecologically significant properties and bring our network of conserved lands to 100 nature preserves.
