Viktoriia recently came to Canada from Ukraine. She chose this province for its proximity to the ocean and relatively mild climate, similar to that of her country. Fredericton is akin to her hometown, and she immediately felt at home. She joined the Nature Trust because of her love of nature and her sense of belonging to something really important.

When she was a little girl, she spent a lot of time in the greenhouses with her grandmother. She went on to university to study botany, receiving a master's degree in plant physiology. With her two children, she loves gardening and being in nature.

In the first days after arriving in the province, she and her family visited St. Andrews and saw the beauty of the ocean for the first time. This impression will forever remain in her heart.
