COURTNEY LE ROUX (she/her/elle)
STEWARDSHIP MANAGER

Courtney’s passion for wildlife and conservation took her to Namibia and South Africa from 2012-2014 before returning home to New Brunswick to complete her BScH with a double major in Wildlife Conservation and Natural Resources in 2018. After her undergraduate degree, she completed her MSc in 2020 with a focus on chimney swifts and large-scale roost networks.

Courtney first joined the Nature Trust during her MSc as a Conserved Lands Technician and as of June 2021 as a Conservation Planning Coordinator. Courtney is inspired by the group of conservation enthusiasts at the Nature Trust and is thrilled to be part of such a passionate team. Outside of the Nature Trust, Courtney maintains a modest homestead and is an active and competing equestrian.
