Description: Help us celebrate our Together for 100 milestone and reflect on all the work that has gotten us here! This celebration will be hosted at our 100th nature preserve and will feature a guided walk through the property with land donors Tony and Dorothy Diamond.
Tucked between Stanley and Fredericton and located on the unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, the Warbler Woods Nature Preserve consists of 20-hectares (50-acres) of mixedwood forest and plays an important role in the Upper Nashwaak landscape. The land is embellished with vernal pools and shaded by tolerant hardwoods, giving it a rich range of microhabitats supporting species at risk like the hoary bat (Lasiurus cinereus), Eastern wood-pewee (Contopus virens), and common nighthawk (Chordeiles minor).
