Description: Join Nature Trust staff, Matt Abbott, Marine Program Director with the Conservation Council of New Brunswick, and Lewnanny Richardson, Species at Risk Program Director with Nature NB, for a webinar that will explore the vital role of New Brunswick's marine ecosystems, discuss the key threats these environments face, and highlight ongoing marine conservation efforts throughout the province.
From the Fundy coast to the North-East coast of New Brunswick, Matt and Lewnanny will walk us through the different causes, sources, and pathways of marine debris and how they compare throughout the province. They will also explain the vital role of community involvement and joining initiatives to combat marine debris, like the Nature Trust’s annual Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup, which will take place this year on Saturday, August 29 all along the Fundy Coast.
