Join the Nature Trust of New Brunswick for the morning session of the Stewarding Forested Wetlands workshop series in Fredericton.

This morning session is part of the Stewarding Forested Wetlands workshop series, hosted by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick and supported by the Environmental Trust Fund (ETF). Designed for private woodlot owners, and conservation partners, the session will deliver essential knowledge on the ecological, regulatory, and cultural value of forested wetlands in New Brunswick.

This indoor learning opportunity will feature presentations from subject-matter experts and partners, including representatives from the Department of Environment and Local Government (DELG), First Nations speakers, and NTNB staff.

Join the Nature Trust as we explore wetland regulations in New Brunswick, discover rare species like the Canada warbler and white rimmed shingle lichen, gain cultural insights shared by First Nations partners, and learn best practices for managing these special places responsibly.

Note: This session is free to attend and includes refreshments.

Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch if they plan to attend the afternoon session as well.
