Description: Join Parks NB to help restore coastal ecosystems by cleaning up the shorelines of New River Beach! Together, we'll work to safeguard a shoreline along the beautiful Bay of Fundy and protect countless species of coastal wildlife.
What to Expect:
At this cleanup, teams will work together to identify and remove debris on the property. Participants should be prepared to collect garbage.
The Nature Trust will also be hosting a BBQ (sponsored by Connors Bros Seafood!) at 4 P.M. at Connors Bros. Nature Preserve at Pea Point to thank everyone for their hard work! Those who attended a cleanup event or led their own cleanup are encouraged to join — don’t forget to stop by!
More details will be circulated to participants upon registration and in advance of the cleanup event.
This is an outdoor event so please dress according to the weather.
