The Navy Island & Leigh Williamson Nature Preserve (Conservation Easement) is located in the Northwest region of Navy Island, in Passamaquoddy Bay, off the South-west shore of St. Andrews, New Brunswick.

The Navy Island & Leigh Williamson Nature Preserve (Conservation Easement) is an ecologically significant area that hosts the magnificent Fundy tides and creates a key habitat for many coastal and migrating bird species throughout the year.

What to Expect:

At this cleanup, teams will work together to identify and remove debris along the shorelines of the preserve. Participants should be prepared for travel by boat, collecting garbage, and some bushwhacking.

We will also be hosting a BBQ (sponsored by Connors Bros Seafood!) at 4 P.M. at Connors Bros. Nature Preserve at Pea Point to thank everyone for their hard work! Those who attended a cleanup event or led their own cleanup are encouraged to join — don’t forget to stop by!

More details will be circulated to participants upon registration and in advance of the cleanup event.
