The Gosling Foundation

Since 2016, The Gosling Foundation has supported the Nature Trust in its work to engage New Brunswickers on the importance of land conservation. They have provided guidance around engagement organizing and mobilizing efforts to improve outreach, recruitment, and volunteer retention.

Elgin Eco Association

Elgin Eco Association

Since 2002, the Elgin Eco Association (EEA) has been stewarding the Mapleton Acadian Forest Trail in Elgin, though this land was owned privately. In 2016, when the area was sold to be clearcut, the EEA initiated a grassroots movement to conserve the area and trail. Through campaigning, fundraising, and partnering with the Nature Trust, this important natural and cultural heritage site became conserved in perpetuity as the Mapleton Acadian Forest Nature Preserve.

Greater Saint John Community Foundation

Greater Saint John Community Foundation

Since 2010, the Greater Saint John Community Foundation has supported the Nature Trust’s stewardship and public engagement work in the Saint John area.

Patagonia Environmental Grants Fund of Tides Foundation

Patagonia Environmental Grants Fund of Tides Foundation

In 2019-2020, Patagonia Environmental Grants Fund of Tides Foundation has supported the Nature Trust’s efforts to build stewardship groups throughout New Brunswick.

RBC Foundation

RBC Foundation

Historically, funding from the RBC Foundation began in 2013 in support of stewardship work taking place on our nature preserves. Recently, the Nature Trust is grateful for their support in the maintenance and upkeep of the beautiful Cape Enrage Nature Preserve.

Fundy Community Foundation

Fundy Community Foundation

The Fundy Community Foundation has supported the Nature Trust of New Brunswick since 2012. Support has been provided through both the Fundy Community Foundation fund and the Community Fund for Canada 150 fund.

Alcool NB Liquor Community Foundation

Alcool NB Liquor Community Foundation

Since 2019, the Alcool NB Liquor Community Foundation (ANBL) has been a significant funder for the Nature Trust, supporting stewardship and engagement initiatives through the successful Passport to Nature program.

Tweed Collective

Tweed Collective

The Tweed Collective is a new supporter of the Nature Trust’s stewardship and public engagement work as of 2020.

TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

For over 10 years, the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) has been supporting the Nature Trust through several engagement and stewardship related activities.

Echo Foundation

Echo Foundation

For over a decade, the Echo Foundation has supported the Nature Trust in stewardship-related activities as well as acquiring several hundred acres of land to protect in perpetuity.

William P. Wharton Trust

William P. Wharton Trust

The William P. Wharton Trust has kindly supported the Nature Trust since 2016 through the acquisition of land to protect in perpetuity.

Schad Foundation

Schad Foundation

Since 2019, the Schad Foundation has generously contributed to the Nature Trust in our efforts to support to government’s target of protecting 17% of lands by 2020, as outlined in the Pathway to Target 1.

Davis Conservation Foundation

Since 2011, the Davis Conservation Foundation has been a large contributor to the Nature Trust’s ongoing land acquisition efforts, assisting our organization in protecting ecologically significant land in New Brunswick.
