Description: Our hands-on water quality training days are ideal for both new and returning volunteers to develop essential field monitoring skills, gain confidence with freshwater testing equipment, and connect with fellow conservation-minded individuals. You'll learn how to test for key indicators like pH and dissolved oxygen using Water Ranger kits, contribute valuable data to support restoration efforts, and make a direct impact on the health of our lakes and streams.

Team-based sampling and data recording
Q&A, knowledge sharing, and confidence building for future monitoring
Join us for one or both training days to build confidence and hands-on skills in water quality testing and monitoring
What to Bring:
Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy hiking footwear
Daypack with lunch, snacks, and water
Sunscreen and insect repellent
Smartphone or tablet (optional – for data entry)
Notebook and pen (optional)
