Lydia LaPointe, CLU, Chartered Financial Consultant

A professional financial advisor for over 30 years, Lydia brings a wealth of knowledge in Estate Planning, Charitable Giving, and Life Insurance. She collaborates with charities and individuals to help clients achieve financial security for life, tax-efficient wealth transfer at death, and increased support for community charities. Born on Grand Manan and raised in Charlotte County,  Lydia has been a dedicated volunteer and supporter of the Nature Trust of New Brunswick for many years.  This includes participating in the annual Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup and serving as a cabinet member of the Conserve (Y)our NB fundraising campaign.

Jennifer Donovan, J. Donovan Law Group - B.A., LL.B

Called to the NB Bar in 2005, Jennifer will celebrate 20 years in private practice this June. Born and raised in Miramichi, Jennifer moved to Fredericton in 2001 for law school. She has remained in Fredericton ever since and it is where she first started practicing law. Becoming a partner in a law firm at just 27 years old, Jennifer quickly grew her practice and eventually started her own law firm, J. Donovan Law Group, in 2019. Now supported by a team of 30 professionals including 8 lawyers, Jennifer’s firm offers bilingual services in all practice areas, including family law, criminal defence, real estate, wills and estates, corporate law and immigration. Jennifer will be speaking on the topic "How to Include a Charitable Gift in Your Will."
