Description: Join owners Suzanne Frenette and Réjean Talbot (active members of the APNC) and the Nature Trust of New Brunswick team on a guided walk through a 10-acre woodlot, discovering a highly diverse forest with impressive biodiversity at several levels and learn about the programs the Nature Trust has to offer woodlot owner.  

Réjean is a trained professional forester and can describe certain aspects of the woodland, such as the composition and stage of development of the various groups of tree species present on the site. Participants are also welcome to share their observations and/or discoveries during this activity. 

What to bring: 

  • Weather-appropriate clothing, including closed-toed shoes suitable for light hiking 

  • Sunscreen and bug spray 

  • Water and snacks
