Suzanne is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at St. Thomas University, majoring in journalism, communications and public policy, and digital media and creative arts. A passionate storyteller, she enjoys creating social media content, producing YouTube videos, and working in STU’s media studio — a role she loves. 

Originally from India, Suzanne grew up in a bustling city but always had a deep appreciation for plants. She cultivated a small garden and drew inspiration from watching her parents care for greenery. This connection to nature drives her enthusiasm to create meaningful content for the Nature Trust, blending her creative talents with her love of plants and storytelling. 

Suzanne aspires to become the world’s first hijab-wearing news anchor on CBC’s The National and eventually on the BBC, bringing diverse representation to mainstream media.
