MALLORY TRAVIS (she/her/elle)
STRATEGIC POLICY INTERN
Mallory left her hometown of New River Beach, New Brunswick to study sociology, anthropology, and Indigenous knowledge at the University of Prince Edward Island, but has since returned to her native province. Following her graduation in 2025, Mallory moved to Fredericton to study law at the University of New Brunswick with the hopes of using her education to help others and advocate for conservation.
An avid hiker and environmentalist, Mallory is excited to apply the research and analysis skills she developed throughout her postsecondary experiences to her position as a strategic policy intern at the Nature Trust of New Brunswick.
In 2025, Mallory spent 1,004 hours outside, and she is hoping her experience at the Nature Trust will inspire her to beat that record!
Favourite Nature Preserve: New River Island Nature Preserve, two kilometers off the coast of the Bay of Fundy between Maces Bay and Pocologan. This Island holds significant sentimental value to Mallory as it is where her parents got engaged.
