BETH SCOTT-STAFFORD (she/her/elle)
ENGAGEMENT FIELD TECHNICIAN

Beth grew up obsessively exploring her family’s wooded property in Harvey, visiting waterfalls while travelling for sports events, and going for hikes as her passion for the natural world blossomed.

She recently earned a BSc. in Environment and Natural Resources with a major in Wildlife Conservation from UNB. Beth spent three summers working for Nova Scotia’s Department of Natural Resources, where she assisted their talented team in many species-at-risk wildlife and plant surveys and developed a special interest in protecting habitat for at-risk species. She is very excited to put her skills and creative ideas to use with the Nature Trust to support its conservation initiatives.

Today, Beth enjoys spending time rock climbing with friends, hiking scenic trails, and discovering new places with her cat, Piglet. She is excited to educate others and share her fascination of nature with anyone who will listen.
