Bimpe Timson (she/her)
OUTREACH INTERN
Bimpe grew up in the countryside of Ondo State in southwestern Nigeria, where sprawling green landscapes and vibrant ecosystems sparked her early connection to nature. Those formative years, immersed in the natural world, inspired her to pursue a degree in geology and laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to conservation and environmental stewardship.
Her belief in the power of community-driven action has shaped years of work at the intersection of conservation, education, and public engagement. She has collaborated with Indigenous groups, NGOs, and government agencies on projects ranging from biodiversity protection to climate resilience and sustainable land use.
Outside of her outreach work, Bimpe enjoys rock climbing, riverside walks, and finding peaceful moments in nature. These experiences deepen her appreciation for the environment and fuel her dedication to preserving it.
She is excited to be part of the Nature Trust family, where she combines her technical expertise, community spirit, and love for wild spaces to support lasting conservation impact.
