Noremac Nature Preserve Grand Opening

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate, kid-friendly (ages 10+)

We are excited to welcome the Noremac Nature Preserve to the network of Nature Trust protected areas in New Brunswick. The event will begin with a grand opening speech and will be followed by an invasive species removal event to restore the Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve.

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING:

  • Appropriate work clothing;
  • Closed toed shoes or hiking boots;
  • Water and snacks;
  • Sunscreen and DEET free insect repellent;
  • Work gloves, loppers for trail maintenance, notebook (optional).

HOW TO GET HERE: Drive down River Valley Drive, and turn onto Station Road. You will then see a Blueberry Hill sign that will direct you to take a right down Baywiew Road which becomes Shannon Road. You will see a large gravel parking area on your left at the bend in the road with a trail map and parking sign. Park here and the trail is directly across the road.
