LOCATION: von Ziegesar Conservation Easement

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate, kid-friendly (ages 10+)

Join our stewards and staff and help us remove invasive species from the von Ziegesar Conservation Easement. We will be working to remove Woodland Angelica, in order to protect the native wildlife that inhabit the preserve.

The event will be followed with an optional walk of the property from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This event is not part of our Passport to Nature initiative.

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING:

  • Appropriate work clothing;
  • Closed toed shoes or hiking boots;
  • Water and snacks;
  • Sunscreen and DEET free insect repellent;
  • Tools for invasive removal (optional).
