Frog Walk at Hyla Park

Back by popular demand, our Hyla Park Frog Walks will begin in late June. Bring your rubber boots and a sense of wonder as we discover why over nine different species of amphibians and other wildlife call this nature preserve home.

Due to the sensitivity of the several amphibian species found at Hyla Park, we ask participants who wish to handle the amphibians to please avoid wearing sunscreen and insect repellant.

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING:

  • Rubber boots;
  • Water;
  • Bug net (optional).

HOW TO GET HERE: Hyla Park is accessible by car and by the Fredericton trail system. If driving, the preserve’s gravel parking lot is located behind the Greenwood Drive United Baptist Church at 150 Greenwood Drive Fredericton, NB E3A 3V5.
