DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate, kid-friendly (ages 10+)

Join the Friends of Blueberry Hill Stewardship Group for a stewardship work day at the beautiful Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve. We will be working to remove Woodland Angelica to protect the native wildlife that inhabits this preserve. There will also be a special announcement regarding a new Nature Trust property in the Saint John area.

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING:

  • Appropriate clothing for the weather;
  • Closed toed shoes or hiking boots;
  • Water and snacks;
  • Sunscreen and DEET free insect repellent;
  • Work gloves, loppers for trail maintenance, notebook (optional).

HOW TO GET HERE: The parking area for the Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve is located at 3700 Westfield Road, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB E2M 7T4 and can be accessed from Bayview Road.
