DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate, kid-friendly (ages 12+)

Did you miss the Dolan Woodlands Grand Opening? Come out to the Boundary Monitoring workshop to discover our new addition in the Miramichi region. Participants will learn how to use a map and compass to locate the property boundary lines, proper techniques for finding old boundary evidence, and how to update current boundary markings.

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING:

  • Appropriate work clothing;
  • Orange vest or hat (hunting season precaution);
  • Closed toed shoes or hiking boots;
  • Water and snacks;
  • Sunscreen and DEET free insect repellent;
  • Compass and notebook and pencil or pen (optional).

HOW TO GET HERE: More details to come. The meeting location of the boundary monitoring workshop at the Dolan Woodlands Nature Preserve will be given to participants upon registration.
