Hailing from the northern tip of Newfoundland, being outside and enjoying everything nature has to offer has been a life long endeavor for Sandy. He made the move to Fredericton in 1996 to complete a B.Sc. in Forestry and fell in love with the beauty that New Brunswick had to offer. Sandy now calls Fredericton home, no small feat for a Newfoundlander.
Sandy has volunteered over the years with the Nature Trust, helping establish the nesting platforms on Manawagonish Island, the On the Rise fundraiser and organizing trail cleanup for Hyla Park. Sandy will take his love for being out “in the bush” to help the Stewardship committee with preserve activities.
