chief executive officer
Renata moved to Canada from the Czech Republic and has lived in British Columbia, Newfoundland, and now New Brunswick, which she calls her home. She has built her career through education in pediatric nursing, international business and tourism, and natural resource management, with work experience in the public, private and non-governmental sectors as a pediatric nurse, tourism coordinator, and natural resource manager. As Chief Executive Officer of the Nature Trust, she has found her passion in land conservation.
Renata and her children, Gavin and Nadia, love spending their time together in the outdoors, travelling, exploring other cultures, and participating in initiatives that are community-based and inclusive for everyone.
Favourite Nature Preserve: Renata’s favorite nature preserve is Caughey-Taylor, located in Bocabec. She loves it because it has a rich history and it contains many different habitats and features that make it an amazing place for visiting anytime throughout the year and when showing visitors who are visiting New Brunswick for the first time.
