Kira is from St. John New Brunswick and goes to school at Memorial University in St. John’s Newfoundland. She is currently in her first work term of her Co-Op Biology Major at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She has been travelling between various towns in Newfoundland and New Brunswick and has since landed in Fredericton, New Brunswick as a part of our team for her work term and to pursue her interests in ecological science.

Kira loves to be outside in nature and especially loves the aquatic parts of nature. Her favourite time of year is the summer, when all of the critters are out. She has a vast interest in amphibians and fish and hopes to pursue research in marine ecology in the future.

Favourite Nature Preserve: Her favourite nature preserve so far is Hyla Park because of its amphibian diversity.
