South Wolf Island is the southernmost island in the Wolves Archipelago. It is 43 hectares, with 6100 feet of high quality, undeveloped coastline. South Wolf, along with nearby Flat Pot Island, Spruce Island, Green Rock, and East Wolf Island can be found in the lower Bay of Fundy, roughly 12 km from Blacks Harbour.

Participants should be comfortable entering and exiting boats with minimal assistance.

 PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING:

  • Closed toed shoes;

  • Appropriate clothing for weather;

  • Lunch/Snacks;

  • Water;

  • Sunscreen;

  • DEET Free Insect Repellant;

  • Work gloves (optional);

  • Pocket knife (optional);

  • Camera (optional).

Note: Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) will be provided for this trip.

MEETING LOCATION: The meeting location on the day of the cleanup will be at the wharf at 180 Brunswick Street.
