Caughey-Taylor Nature Preserve is a 240 hectare (600 acre) preserve stretching along Taggart’s Brook and marsh, surrounding Sam Orr’s Pond, to Birch Cove and Berry Point on Bocabec Bay, part of the Bay of Fundy. It is 12 km north-east of St. Andrews on Hwy 127.

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING:

  • Closed toed shoes;

  • Appropriate clothing for weather;

  • Lunch/Snacks;

  • Water;

  • Sunscreen

  • DEET Free Insect Repellant;

  • Work gloves (optional);

  • Pocket knife (optional);

  • Camera (optional).

MEETING LOCATION: Meeting location will be the Caughey-Taylor Nature Preserve Parking lot. Once volunteers arrive, we will carpool to a residential area where we will have closer access to the shoreline.
