Sea Dog Cove Work Day

The Nature Trust of New Brunswick needs your help!
The Nature Trust is holding at Work Day at our Sea Dog Cove Preserve. This is a beautiful property containing marshy shoreline and undisturbed riverine forest. It is home to variety of migratory birds and its surrounding waters are host to schools of Banded Killifish and Harbour Seals. Peregrine falcon, a COSEWIC "threatened species," have also been spotted in the area.
Hike Up Chickahominy Mountain
Posted April 19th, 2010 by RenataDespite the rainy weather, 15 people participated in the Hike to Chickahominy Mountain. This hike was one of the Campaign for Coastal Lands events organized this year in celebration of the successful completion of the Campaign. Keep posted for other events.
International Trails Day at Blueberry Hill
Posted April 19th, 2010 by RenataThe Nature Trust of New Brunswick, Friends of Blueberry Hill and the Town of Grand Bay - Westfield invite you to celebrate International Trail Day at Blueberry Hill. Join us for a celebration of the ongoing Blueberry Hill project and trails. There will be activites for the entire family.
The Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve comprises 50 acres of beautiful woods and fields on the shoreline of the Grand Bay with scenic hiking trails, bird watching and outdoor enjoyment for people of all ages.

Maine Land Conservation Conference

Maine Coast Heritage Trust presents the Maine Land Conservation
Conference in support of its Maine Land Trust Network program and
Maine's land conservation community. This year the conference will take
place on Friday, April 30th in Brunswick and Saturday, May 1st in
Topsham (please note that this is a different location than the past
few years). The conference provides training on best practices in land
trust management, land transactions, and stewardship. It provides a
forum for learning about the most pressing issues facing land
conservation today.
Earth Day at Hyla Park

Join a guide on a tour of Hyla Park to celebrate Earth Day. Learn about the amphibians that call Hyla Park home, the secrets frogs hold, and why we care so much about them!
The walk starts at 4:30 at Hyla Park, located behind Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on the Gibson Trail.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided! Be Green! Bring your own mug.

Earth Day Walk for Water

Please call (506) 357-3456 or emailing eclips.studio@nb.aibn.com. All proceeds go to the Nova Scotia Nature Trust who will share a portion of these funds to the Nature Trust of New Brunswick.
Walk starts at 8:30 am, on April 22nd on 291 Restigouche Rd. in Oromocto.
