Welcome to our New Neighbours!

On Saturday, May 8th, the Nature Trust of New Brunswick held an event to introduce our new neighbours, community groups, and local community leaders to out Boars Head Property. We had a wonderful turn out including Trevor Holder (our local MLA), Patty Higgins (Saint John City Councilor), two Scout Leaders from the Portland United Scout Group, Anne Bardou (Manager of National Historic Sites) and many others.

Following an informal introduction to the property and the organization, we headed out to the waterfront of Boars Head to do a short (and simple!) introductory hike through a section of the property.

If you have any questions, concerns or ideas about what the future holds for Boars Head - we cordially invite you to the Public Meeting being held on May 20th at the Millidgeville Community Center from 6:30 to 7:00. This event is being held for all interested to learn about the Nature Trust, and discuss the Boars Head Preserve potential.
