Boar's Head
Boar's Head consists of 27 hectares of land located in the Millidgeville area of Saint John. The property contains Red Spruce groves and cedar and alder wetlands as well as, is home to the endangered Anticosti Aster. Over 150 metres of pristine shoreline along the St John River Basin are located on the property.
Currently, the Boar's Head Nature Preserve is not open to the public, as it has no designated walking trails. However, the Nature Trust is working on establishing a management plan for the property which will secure public access, and walking trails are under development. We are currently seeking volunteer stewards to help with the stewardship responsibilities. If you or your community group is interested in getting involved please contact the Nature Trust.
