The Nature Trust of New Brunswick, Friends of Blueberry Hill and the Town of Grand Bay - Westfield invite you to celebrate International Trail Day at Blueberry Hill. Join us for a celebration of the ongoing Blueberry Hill project and trails. There will be activites for the entire family.
The Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve comprises 50 acres of beautiful woods and fields on the shoreline of the Grand Bay with scenic hiking trails, bird watching and outdoor enjoyment for people of all ages.
Despite the rainy weather, 15 people participated in the Hike to Chickahominy Mountain. This hike was one of the Campaign for Coastal Lands events organized this year in celebration of the successful completion of the Campaign. Keep posted for other events.
The Nature Trust is held a Work Day at our Sea Dog Cove Preserve. Sea Dog Cove is a beautiful preserve containing marshy shoreline and undisturbed riverine forest. It is home to variety of migratory birds and its surrounding waters are host to schools of Banded Killifish and Harbour Seals. Peregrine falcon, a COSEWIC "threatened species," have also been spotted in the area.
